Come explore yoga with a beginner's mind. We will practice all of the basics of a yoga flow class, focusing on proper alignment and modifications for injuries and inflexibility. Questions are encouraged and, because there will be a teacher and an assistant in the room, students can count on one-on-one attention.
This Series is designed for people who have never practiced yoga and for anyone who wants to deepen their current practice by slowing down and focusing on creating strength and flexibility in each pose. The classes are designed to be a physical experience. Expect to sweat. Each basics class will have a theme—ie, Hip Openers, Backbends, Twists. Whatever the theme, every class will be infused with core strengthening poses.
