Do you feel a bit "burned out" by the end of summer? Seeking natural ways to stay cool? Interested in using an ancient and holistic approach to your self-care? Join Loren to learn how to use an Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle by integrating specific foods and spices that foster balanced health in summer, as well as body care practices that will keep skin cool and nourished. Digestive health is paramount to overall health, according to Ayurveda, so we will focus on ways to keep your agni (digestive power) functioning at its best. This workshop will be held in the studio with a recorded option.
Relax & Restore with Melissa

Relax & Restore is a nourishing fusion of mindful, unhurried flow followed by restorative shapes. At the start of class, gently release tension and stress through meditative movements and breath work. Then, ease into floor based postures with the support of props to encourage deep relaxation and comfort. Class will culminate in a tranquil savasana to bask in the healing power of stillness. Embrace the art of slowing down, honoring your body’s unique needs, and creating spaciousness in the mind.

Through mindful breathing techniques and slow, intentional movement, you'll activate the body's natural relaxation response, helping to shift from a state of stress to one of calm and ease. Build an understanding of how you can use your yoga practice and simple breath work to regulate your nervous system.
This 2-hour class includes gentle somatic movement, yin and restorative yoga, and breathing practices - all infused in the magic of crystal singing bowls.
