Yoga Stretch & Strength for All Levels
60 Minute Classes
Thurs at 12pm, Sat at 11am & Sun at 11am
This class assumes you have never done yoga although many regular yogis enjoy the pace and pose selection. This class offers appropriate yoga poses for the tightest bodied athletes, desk sitters or anyone who is struggling with flexibility and chronic stiffness. We practice varying series of poses in order to build both strength and flexibility all in order to experience greater ease of movement in your body. This class is accessible to anyone. We will always incorporate some core strengthening into every class for fitness and for the health of the low back.
Hot & Sweaty 20
75 Minute Class
Friday at 5pm
The name may sound intimidating but the class is accessible to all levels. If you like the heat, the pace is not fast and the holds are longer. This gives you the chance to modify or come in and out of the poses. We practice a designated series of poses that is the same each time. However, just because the poses are the same does not mean that your experience will be the same each time! 20 poses, same order, lots of holding but no flow. No chattarunga, no up dog... no vinyasa. The combo of poses is designed to stretch and strengthen the major muscle groups. EXPECT TO SWEAT. We will be turning up the heat!
Relax & Restore
60 Minute Classes
Thursday night at 6:30pm
Relax & Restore is an hour of restorative yoga where you will ease into floor-based postures supported by props to encourage deep relaxation and comfort. Class will culminate in a tranquil savasana to embrace the healing power of stillness. Embrace the art of slowing down, honoring your body’s unique needs, and creating spaciousness in the mind.
